Water Sound Beach

Contributed to M Tanner

I took this at the beach during spring break. I like how the two chairs frame Jack and Shelby. I cropped it and adjusted the color a little. I think it turned out alright, but I think it could have been better if the sky wasn't overexposed.

I really love this shot!! It looks like it should be in a magazine. Great job!

I really like this shot, the colors are great and I like how you evenly cut off the sides of the chairs. it really bothers me when identical things are cropped off unevenly (my OCPD is kicking in haha) so great job not doing that. Jack and Shelby are a good focal point for this picture, they create a sweet, romantic story for the viewer. The sun is blown out, but there is not much you can do about that. good job al..and tell jack i said way to go :) haha

This is a pretty nice shot dude. I agree that the shot would have looked better without the overexposure of the sunlight, but it does frame them very well. I like how the shot doesn't look posed and how it looks like you were stalkin' them or something (I guess that's meant as a compliment). I also like how the chairs are pretty much symmetrical. Nice shot!

Ah, I’m so jealous. This picture is where I want to be. What a symbolic picture of the sun, sand and fun. The one thing that captured my eye in this picture is your source of light. The sun comes straight from the upper center of the shot and doesn’t cause an abnormal glare on anything. I love how the sand looks like it’s been played in and not like its all smooth and perfect. The chairs are a beautiful blue to contrast nicely with the light hazy blue of the sky and the couple is centered precisely and they too look like they’re enjoying themselves. Great shot.

This picture is amazing i like how you focused on the chairs i also like the couple walking on th beach. what made the picture awesome is how the chairs framed the couple. It looks really romantic... Even if the sky is over exposed the picture is still great. I love it!!

I absolutely love this shot! I totally agree and think it should be posted in a magazine or on an advertisement somewhere...I actually like the overexposure because I think if the horizon was crisp and clear then it would be less interesting. The overexposure helps to focus on the two people in the background as well as the fact that you want to actually capture the essence of the beach too. There's just so much about this photo that I like...it really draws me in and makes me want to be there. To be able to do that with a single photo is appealing to all the senses and the perfect aesthetic. Great job!!

I absolutely adore this photo. it's so sweet, and gives the viewer a great story. I also really like the crop, with it tight on the chairs. While the sky is a bit overexposed, it really works with the photo. all in all, great job!

This is a cool photo! The distance between the chairs to capture both the girl and guy is great! Although it is overexposed it is still a great photo. I like how you can't see the details of the people but the outline of them. I think it would be cool if you adjusted color a little more but still good job!

I really like this photo because it has symbolism behind it. I also really like it because it seems very unique and the chairs up front bring the picture together whereas if the chairs were not there and it was just the two people, it would be rather boring. You made it seem like there was a story behind it, and I really like that. Yes, the sky is a bit overexposed, however, I think you pulled it off. Great job!

I LOVE this picture!! The chairs in the front really draw your attention to the couple and frame the subject very nicely. It has a nice depth of field, but the sky is overexposed. I really like the concept behind this photo. It works well together, good job.

I really like this shot man. I would agree that the sky is a little overexposed but other than that it's great. I really like how the chairs frame the two people on the beach. I also like how well the blue of the sky works with the blue of the chairs. All-in-all this is a great shot and it should be in a magazine. - TW

This photo is really good. It looks like an advertisement for a hotel or something. The sun that distorts the people in the background is pretty awesome too. I think that the mood in this is pretty chill.

This photo kind of looks like a vacation advertisement. I like how the chairs frame the couple in the distance. The colors of the sand, chairs, and sky look nice together too.

I really like this photo. The composition and subject are very interesting. The lines of the beach chairs moves your eye through the photo and then to the couple. I agree that the sky is overexposed. This shot would be fantastic if it were taken during another time of the day so that the horizon could be seen.

I really like this picture! It seems so romantic! I like how your main focus was the boy and girl but at the same time the chairs really caught my eye. It looks like an advertisement. You're right the sky is a bit overexposed but the picture turned out great!

I love this photo. It looks like an ad for Water-Sound Beach, ha. The colors are great and the balance in the photo is awesome. I like how the chairs frame the two people, it makes it more personal. Even though the sky is washed out, I like how it is white towards the middle of the photo and you can see the hint of blue coming back in towards the edges of the photo. Overall, really great photo!!

this image looks like it should be in a magazine for Water-Sound beach.
The people between the chairs seem to really pop and work.
Good job.

This really reminds me of a magazine add, you captured this photo so well. I love how the sunlight is shining on the couple, drawing the eye to them. The bright blue beach chairs add a pop of color and frame the central subjects. I really want to go on vacation now :]

I really like this picture; it reminds me of all those ads for beachy vacations. The sky might be overexposed, but it really works with the picture. I think that this picture would actually be perfect for a brochure. Good Job.

This is an amazing photo! It’s something you would see in a magazine. I love the colors of the beach, and I agree about the sky being a little over-exposed, but it shows the setting of the sun which draws your attention to the couple. Good job with framing also.

I like the framing in this picture, how the chairs frame the people walking. I think the people are a really nice touch and I like how the sun is shinning down on them. Cute picture!

I like that this picture fills in the frame and it shows some depth of field. I also think the lighting turned out really good.

I really like this picture. It is really cool how you can get the total feel of and it looks like you’re actually at the beach. I also really like how the chairs are in focus and the people are out of focus with the sun glaring down on them. The depth of field here is used great how the chairs and sand are in focus and the people are not. The mood reflected to me here is summery and happy.
