Stairs to Nowhere

Contributed by FC Jones

I took this at the country club by my house. I found these old stairs that havn't been painted in a while and really liked the color and the cracked wood. I did a levels adjustment and changed the contrast slightly.

This picture is really cool. I like the feel of the colors and the chipped paint. It seems like it would belong to a really quirky house. I like it, good job!

I really like this picture for some reason! There is not much to it but its a cool picture. It seems like the stairs are really old so it would probably lead to an old house or somewhere old. But i like it alot, cool picture!

The color of the stairs are odd compared to today's stairs. However, I really like how it's patriotic colors. The cracks in the stairs show time. The stairs have had a long past. I am curious as to where the stairs lead. Their is mystery within this photo. I like how there are random leaves on the stairs. I can tell that is fall by the color of the leaves. Very nice job!

The use of lines, color and texture was used very well in this photo. I like the appearance of the stairs being aged. It’s very interesting to look at.

Very nice picture. I love the worn down look of the paint. Good work of filling the frame. It wouldn't be a good picture if you got all of the stairs from post to post. Good work.

This picture is really cool. I like the old timey look to it. It's old and some of the paint is flaked off and that is what makes it look old timey. The colors of the stirs and in between the stairs is hat makes is look old timey. Also the color of the picture like its not to bright and not to dull looking its just perfect.

I really like this picture. I don't think I would have noticed the potential the picture has. So many probably walk right over the steps without thinking about it. Just seeing the steps makes me want to see the rest of the building. I wonder what color the house is, or if the rest of the paint is chipping. Overall, its a very thoughtful photo.4
