Riscky's Business

Contributed by M Jones

I took the picture in Dallas two years ago. I thought it was ironic, and I liked that it was walking in the opposite direction on a one-way street. I just thought it was a cute little picture.

I think this photo basically shows a small town and a Bar-B-Que truck on delivery and the bulls are just walking the town. This photo is pretty funny to me. What made this picture so funny is that the bull is sitting right in the front of the camera. I just like the way the Bar-B-Que truck is sitting in the back.

I love how ironic this picture is because you see that there is a long horn in the bar-b-que logo then you see a real long horn in front of the bar-b-que truck. How ironic this picture is made it a funny picture.

I really like how this picture looks like it could be an ad, and how it's also very ironic. There are a few different things in the picture that make it really cool. I also like that the picture is not exactly leveled and crooked because it ads to the originality of the photo.

I like this picture in how the bull is right in front of the camera. I don't know if the photographer zoomed in or what but it looks like they are pretty close to the bull. The bull going the wrong way on the One-Way street is ironic and it is also a foreshadowing of what the (Texas) Longhorns would be doing on Thursday night.

I like how the bull and the truck behind it are both in focus. I find it very funny and ironic that the bull happens to be right in front of the truck that sports a logo of a bull's head. Good work focusing in on the bull showing the details. A.M. - SPHS.

Dearest Meredith,
I love the irony in this picture. It makes me laugh :) I also like the focus of the two main points of the photo. As pointed out by a previous comment, I like the irony of the one way street too! You have done a lovely job, Meredith ;)

i really like this photo. i think it is ironic and funny. there is a bull standing right in front of a catering truck with a bull logo on it! i also like the angle you took it in. i like how it wasnt straight forward facing only the truck, because we can see the bull's face and features at this angle. overall good photo!

I like this photo. It gave me a good laugh. I like how the bulls are walking across the street the wrong way and they are passing a bar-b-que truck. The horns on the truck stick out because right after you look at the horns on the bull. I also like how you can see the bull's face along with the truck, Very nice job on this photo.

When I first saw this image, before I even took a look at the picture description, the first thing I did when I saw this photo was laugh at the irony. But looking more deeply at the image, the lighting really makes the bull's colors look beautiful. The composition could be better, the subjects are over-lapping and in awkward places. But, other than that, the image is worthy of laughs.

Now this photograph is chalk full of irony! A bull outside a BAR-B-QUE? How nice of you to include such a story in your photograph, truly a treat. On to the critiquing, the exposure is a tad bright, but the objects are in fine focus and this photograph reflects a mood of boldness. I might have suggested a rule of thirds with this one, but you still managed to create a wonderful photograph! Cheers to the back-story!
