Another night out riding, I decided to play around with the settings on my camera to create longer exposure times. Only nudged up the saturation.

This Picture shows a good example of a picture with good perspective. The flow of the picture feels likke its moving. The sky in the picture is great example of good contrasty to the road at night.
I like the feeling of moving in this picture. I have to say though; I think a tripod would have been great for the picture. It would have given the feeling of moving but also not so all over the place. The idea is really good though. Good job -JB ERHS
I love the use of overexposure in this photo. The lights in the back that get sharper make it seem like your looking back at where you are leaving, and that everything else is just passing. The blurred road gives the picture motion. -sphs.CB
I like how the picture creates the illusion of movement and how the lighting was set up with the darkness around the outside of the picture but how you can see the many lights off in the distance.
The fire as the focus of the photo really stands out. Also, the contrast of brightness of the fire and the darkness of the night really fits the photo well. Great job :)
I really like the contrast between the lights and darks in this photo, and also between the warm yellow of the lights and cool blue of the sky. The perspective is wonderful, as well, and leads the eye to a very nice focal point. I also find it interesting how the normally architectural shapes of the urban setting were made organic and smooth by the long exposure.
I like that this photo is blurred to give it an effect of motion. I like the focus, of the lights in the background and how they are blurred. It creates a mood of motion, when everything is moving around you with lights and things like in the city.
The motion of this picture is fantastic because while capturing the constant movement of a city, it is also visually pleasing. If i had taken a blurry picture like this i probably would've deleted it. But this is actually a really nice image. Good eye!
I really like how blurry the photo is because normally a blurry picture is just garbage but this one I feel tells a story. The lighting is great and I like the long exposure feel. The mood is mysterious. You don’t know where the person in the car is going.
This high school photoblog is the product of the photography students at Spain Park High School in Hoover, Al.
Students take turns posting one of their images along with a brief explanation each school day. The students also trade critiques with their peers from other schools around the country (see high school blog links below).
We are always looking to expand our participating schools. If your photography program starts a blog, email Mr. Myers so he can add your link to our growing list. emyers@hoover.k12.al.us

I like how you thought of the photo and added some cool elements which look like it in 3d. I like you thinking. Good job. MF SHPS

This is a very good night composed picture. The blurred effect brings it to life and the pictures focal point is set up nicely.
I like this picture. It makes it look like it was taken while in motion and it looks like it was taken while moving really fast.
I like that this photo is blurred to give it an effect of motion.

I like that you can see what this picture is of, but it is all blurred.

This picture is really cool and reminds me of the movie scenes when time is speeding by.
